MR. JAMES H. WILLIAMS
Mr. James H. Williams, 95, of Hogansville, died Friday, June 22, 2012, at Heritage Healthcare in Franklin.
The funeral service will be conducted at 4:30 p.m., Sunday, June 24, at the graveside in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. The Reverend Clinton Hughes will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m., Sunday.
Mr. Williams was born November 25, 1916, in Heard County, son of the late Emmett Jefferson Williams and the late Lois Pritchett Williams. An Army veteran of World War Two, hee lived in Hogansville most of his life, was a member and deacon of Highland Baptist Church, and was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his sister in-law, Joyce Williams of Hogansville; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tennie Almon Williams; daughter, Alice Rebecca Williams; and brothers, Charlie Williams, Jack Williams, and Emmett Williams, Jr.
Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
