James Thomas (Jamie) Thompson, 44, of LaGrange, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at his home.
Born August 1, 1972, in LaGrange, Jamie lived in Troup County most of his life and was employed as a flooring installer. He was a 1991 graduate of Troup High School, had attended West Georgia Technical College, and was Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his daughter, Kiley Alicia Thompson of LaGrange; his parents, Connie and Rev. Jimmy Little of LaGrange; brothers, Philmon Thompson of Pine Mountain, Brian Little of California; sisters, Sherry Little of Oregon, Tammy Little of California; niece, Shelby Thompson; and nephew, P. J. Thompson. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Lamar Thompson and his father, Larry Lee Thompson.
The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 6, at Friendship Baptist Church on Barnard Ave. in LaGrange. Rev. Tom Kennedy and Rev. Jimmy Pruitt will officiate and interment will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 until 7 Sunday.
