JAMES KENNETH TALLENT, JR.
Mr. James Kenneth Tallent, Jr., 47, of Hogansville, died Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 1, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery with military honors.
Born March 5, 1962, in Atlanta, Mr. Tallent was a veteran of service in the U. S. Army and lived in Riverdale before making his home at Hogansville in 1996. He was a retired carpenter and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Survivors include his mother and father, Sally Crutchfield Tallent and James Kenneth Tallent, Sr. of Hogansville; his sister, Tammy Davis Banzaca and her husband, Gerard Banzaca, also of Hogansville; and nephews, Trey Davis and Gabe Banzaca. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.
Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
