James Joseph "JR" Riddle, 53, of Hogansville, GA passed away Friday, February 18, 2022 at his residence.
Mr. Riddle was born July 21, 1968 in Kankakee, Illinois and had lived in Hogansville for a number of years. He was a self-employed contractor. He was a son of James Wesley Riddle and Lois Ann Enke Riddle, who survive.
Survivors include his life-long companion, Dawn Campbel of, Hogansville;
his father, Bro. James Riddle and his wife, Dorothy of Scottsville, KY; his mother, Lois Ann Riddle of Ozark, MO; daughter, Nora Jean Smith, of Alabama; step-son, Dustin Campbell of Newnan; step daughters, Alisa McGowan of LaGrange and Leila Campbell of Newnan; brother, Delbert Gene Riddle of Baton Rouge, LA;
sisters, Karen Ann Clark of Scottsville, KY and Amanda Sue Grider and her husband Mike, of Gallatin, TN; step-granddaughter, Willow Campbell; step-sisters, Lisa Stinson and her husband Jerry, Tammy Bacher and her husband Bruce, all of Scottsville, KY; four nieces and four nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 23, at Goad Funeral Home in Scottsville, Kentucky with Bro. Todd Bullington and Bro. Mike Harper officiating, with burial in Red Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 7:00 a.m. Wednesday until the funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Goad Funeral Home to assist the family.
