Mr. James Herbert "Jimmy" Pace, 59, of Newnan, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton.
Mr. Pace was born January 18, 1966, in Tifton, OH, son of the late George Pace and Shirley Tyree Minton. He was employed for many years as a drywall installer and as a delivery driver for drywall. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed fishing, and riding his four-wheeler and his Harley-Davidson. He also loved his beloved dog, Oreo, who was his constant companion.
Survivors include his daughter and son in-law, Tiffany Pace and Brent Alford; grandchildren, Jayden Wilder, Jesse Wilder, and Cash Alford, all of Newnan; brothers, Randell Pace and his wife Melanie Pace, Richard Pace and his wife Lisa Pace, both of Heflin, AL, and Amos Tyree of Jonesboro; sister in-law, Lisa Pace, wife of his late brother, George Pace; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his former wife of 37 ½ years, Doris "Dottie" Pace. In addition to his parents and brother, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Christy Nichole Pace; and sister, Janet Harper.
A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, March 29, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Saturday, prior to the service.
