MR. JAMES C. MOORE Mr. James C. Moore, 77. Of Jacksonville, FL and formerly of Hogansville, died Monday, February 14, 2011, at his home. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 17, at the graveside in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville, with the Reverend Clinton Hughes officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m., Thursday. Mr. Moore was born May 28, 1933, in Calhoun, TN, son of the late Charlie Carroll Moore and Sina Elizabeth Castille Moore. An Air Force veteran of the Korean War, he lived in Hogansville before making his home in Jacksonville in 1977. He was a member of the Church of Christ and retired as a driver for Allied Systems in Jacksonville. Survivors include his wife, Bettie Lou Hale Moore; daughter, Diane Lovett; son, Bobby Moore, all of Jacksonville; sisters, Grace Humphrey of Athens, TN and Mamie Cochran of Monroe, La; brothers, Paul Moore of Athens, TN and George Moore of LaGrange; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
