James L. Mock

MR. JAMES L. MOCK Mr. James L. Mock, 69, of LaGrange, died Sunday, August 19, 2012, at West Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Mock was born June 16, 1943, in Columbus, son of the late William Joseph Mock and Pauline Anderson Mock. A U. S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, he lived in LaGrange most of his life and was a retired painter. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Mock; daughters, Jessica Leigh Mock and Tonya Shea McClain; son, James Young Mock; step-daughters, Tammy Day and Tina Day; step-sons, Jimmy Scott, Eddie Scott, and Jerry Wolfe; brothers, Robert Mock and Boots Mock; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, James Lewis Mock, Jr., and daughter, Tabatha Othea McClain. The body has been cremated and no service will be held at this time. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
