MR. JAMES M. MOBLEY Mr. James M. Mobley, 75, of LaGrange, died Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 23, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Charles Chapman and the Reverend Brad Thompson will officiate and interment will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Thursday night. Mr. Mobley was born July 18, 1936, in Thomaston, son of the late Moreland and Katie Nell Barfield Mobley. A veteran of service in the U. S. Air Force, he lived in LaGrange most of his life and was a retired truck driver, who enjoyed driving and traveling the country for many years. Survivors include his wife, Gwen Mobley of LaGrange; daughter, Susan Mobley Lewis of LaGrange; sisters and brothers in-law, Vivian and Archie Arrington, of LaGrange, Joyce and Chuck BeeBe of Warner Robins; brothers and sisters in-law, Hugh and Jeanette Mobley, Harold and Linda Mobley, all of LaGrange; and two grandchildren, Dustin Musgrove and Brandie Musgrove Arrington and her husband, Chris. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Thursday night, December 22nd, at Claude A.
