JIMMY McCUBBIN
Jimmy McCubbin, 47, of LaGrange, died Sunday, April 6, 2008.
The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, April 10, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Pastor Jeff Watts will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
Born December 13, 1960, in Maryland, Mr. McCubbin had lived in Troup county for the past 19 years and was employed as a truck driver. He was a member of Turnaround Christian Center in LaGrange, was a member of the American Legion Golf Club, and was a motorcycle enthusiast.
Survivors include his wife, Pattie McCubbin of LaGrange; daughters and sons in-law, Lacey Nicole McCubbin and Amanda and Ricky Chunn, all of LaGrange, and Kimberly and Steven Messer of Phenix City, Ala.; sons and daughter in-law, Christopher Reynolds of LaGrange, Douglas Boatner of Colorado, and Neal and Darla Boatner of Phenix City; his mother, Sandra McCubbin of LaGrange; sisters, Sharon Moreau of Glen Burnie, Md. and Carlene Joliff of LaGrange; and ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, James Howard McCubbin.

The Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
