MR. JAMES JACKSON Mr. James Jackson, age 64, of Grantville, died Thursday, November 1, 2012. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 3, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Jonathan Hannah and the Reverend Randy Gilbert officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 until 7 Friday evening. Mr. Jackson was born June 19, 1948, in Newnan, son of the late William Dewey Jackson and the late Lois Williamson Jackson. An Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a lifelong resident of Grantville, was a member of the Baptist church, and was retired from the City of Grantville. Survivors include his wife, Paige Jackson of Grantville; sons, Anthony Jackson of Grantville, James Lee (Joey) Jackson of Sharpsburg; sisters, Jean Hayes of Newnan, Joy Alford of Georgetown, TN, Marie Drake of Littleton, CO, Diane Hannah of Roanoke, AL; brother, L H. Jackson of Grantville; and grandchildren, Audrey Jackson and Austin Jackson. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
