MR. MICHAEL HAMMOND Mr. Michael Hammond, 38, of Hogansville, died Sunday, January 9, 2011, at his home. The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, January 15, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Dwayne Perdue, the Reverend Jeff Rudbeck, and the Reverend Aaron McCollough will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. Mr. Hammond was born January 25, 1972, in Newnan, and lived in Hogansville most of his life. He was a veteran of service in the U. S. Army, was a member of Faith Baptist Church in LaGrange, and had been employed at the Elm City Division of Milliken and Co. Survivors include his parents, Marion and Carolyn Hammond; and his brothers, Kim Hammond and Mark Hammond, all of Hogansville. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Friday night, January 14th, at Claude A.
