Mr. James David Hall, 70, of Grantville, passed away Monday, January 7, 2019, at his home.
Mr. Hall was born February 9, 1948, in Coweta County, son of the late James W. (Bud) Hall, Jr. and Ruby Boswell Hall. A U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he lived in Coweta County most of his life, was a retired building contractor and partner in Boswell Construction Co. He was Baptist by faith and was a member of the American Legion, but most of all he loved taking care of his family and constructing homes.
Survivors include his wife, Molly Hall of Grantville; his children, David Lee Hall and his wife Amanda of Grantville, Crystal Gayle Grier and her husband Maurice of Newnan; brothers, Robert Hall of Corinth, Andrew Hall of Grantville; seventeen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tina Marie Broach.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 11, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Henry Overholt, Jr. will officiate and interment will be in Southview Cemetery in Moreland.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Thursday night.
