James Norman Freeman

February 24, 1946 — November 4, 2016

Mr. James Norman Freeman, 70, of the Corinth Community of Heard County, passed away at his home. Mr. Freeman was born February 24, 1946, in Coweta County, son of the late John Tyler Freeman and Clara Louise Hogan Freeman. He lived in Coweta County most of his life, retired as a foreman from Atlanta Pre-Cast, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Grantville. Survivors include his daughter, Kay Fowler of Grantville; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, James Scott Freeman; a great-grandson; sister, Vickie Freeman Head; and brother, John McArthur Freeman. The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Monday, November 7, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Jody Mitchell and the Reverend Render Freeman will officiate and interment will be in the Grantville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Sunday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
