MR. JAMES L. COLE Mr. James L. Cole, 70, of LaGrange, died Sunday, March 29, 2009, at his home. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 1, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. The Reverend Tina Lashley will officiate and interment will be in the Caswell Family Cemetery in Franklin. Mr. Cole was born April 24, 1938, in Carroll county, son of the late Emmett and Gladys Morrow Cole. A resident of Heard county before making his home in LaGrange in 1987, he retired from the Pine Mountain Division of Milliken and Company and was a member of the Cathedral of Praise in LaGrange. Survivors include his wife, Mary Jean Caswell Cole of LaGrange; son and daughter in-law, Ronnie and Nancy Cole of LaGrange; sister, Wilma Loftin of Centralhatchee; and three grandchildren, Roxanne Ringer of Alexandria, VA, Blair Pruitt and Josh Pruitt, both of LaGrange. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Robin Ringer. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Tuesday night, March 31st, at Claude A.
