Jackson Wayne Moon, age 3, of Hogansville, passed away March 1, 2016 at his home.
Jackson is survived by his mother, Libby Taylor and Clint Taylor, of Hogansville, father and step-mother, Chris and Hope Moon, of Newnan; sisters, Piper Taylor of Hogansville, Leigha Moon and Catalina Moon of Newnan; brother, Zane Taylor of Hogansville; grandparents, Shannon Davis and Tim Fann of Hogansville, Tony and Lisa Davis of Lone Oak, Christine and Robert Harrell of Newnan, Wayne and Wanda Moon of Phenix City, AL; great-grandmother, Carolyn Davis, of Hogansville; and great-great-grandmother, Lucille Marciniak of Hogansville.
A service to celebrate Jackson's life will be 4:00 p.m., Friday, March 4, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Clint Taylor will officiate and interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Newnan. Those planning to attend are encouraged to wear superhero shirts and jeans in support of Jackson.
The following superheroes will serve as pallbearers: Batman (Jeremy Sherrer), Robin (Josh Sherrer), Mr. Incredible (Jeff Chaffin), Superman (Garrett Davis), Iron Man (Tim Fann), and Captain America (Josh Garrison).
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Thursday night.
