Jackie Houston Clampett

MRS. JACKIE CLAMPETT Mrs. Jackie Houston Clampett, 77, of Newnan, died Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Mrs. Clampett was born July 22, 1937, in Newnan, daughter of the late William and Ethel Attaway Houston. A resident of Coweta County most of her life, she was Baptist by faith and retired as a system service representative from BellSouth following twenty years of service. Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Carmen and Rick Minton of Grantville; son and daughter in-law, Craig and Sheryl Haynes of Newnan; sister and brother in-law, Janice and Charles East of Grantville; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles T. Clampett. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 25, in the Grantville Cemetery, with the Reverend Frank Powers officiating. Claude A.
