Mr. Jack D. Mezrah, 87, of Carrollton, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018, at The Oaks Skilled Nursing Facility in Carrollton.
Mr. Mezrah was born December 6, 1930, in Atlanta, son of the late David and Beatrice Tarrangano Mezrah. A veteran of service in the U. S. Army during the Korean War, he was a resident of Atlanta most of his life and attended the Atlanta campus of the University of Georgia. He and his late wife, Carolyn Duncan Mezrah, owned and operated APA Color Lab for many years before making their home in Carroll county in 1993.
Survivors include his sister, Rachel Capelouto of Atlanta; nieces, Sharon Sonenshine of Atlanta, Corinne Capilouto of Montgomery, Alabama; nephew, Gary Capelouto of Atlanta; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
A family interment service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 30, at the graveside in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
