MRS. ISABEL C. KELLER
Mrs. Isabel Copeland Keller, of Greenville, died Saturday, February 22, 2014, at Gwinnett Medical Center in Duluth.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 26, at the graveside in the Greenville Cemetery, with the Reverend Jonathan Porter officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 until 7 Tuesday evening.
Mrs. Keller was born February 7, 1922, in Meriwether County, daughter of the late Walter Fred Copeland and Mattie Self Copeland. A lifelong resident of Meriwether County, she was the oldest active member of Greenville Baptist Church, where she was a member of the WMU and had prepared communion for many years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing bridge, but her life revolved around faith, family and friends.
Survivors include her daughters, Kay Bentz and her husband, Robert of Peachtree Corners, Carol Douthit and her husband, Jesse of Auburndale, FL; sister and brother in-law, Eunice and Richard Smith of Atlanta; brother and sister in-law, Charles and Sara Copeland of Saginaw, TX; grandchildren, Todd Caldwell, Leigh Caldwell-Webb, Stephanie Douthit; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben F. Keller, Jr.
Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
