MRS. IRMA GAMBLE
Mrs. Irma Spradlin Gamble, 83, of Hogansville, passed away Friday, August 14, 2015, at West Georgia Medical Center.
Mrs. Gamble was born July 29, 1932, in Newton County, daughter of the late Lambert and Mae Braswell Spradlin. A resident of Hogansville most of her life, she was Baptist by faith and was the retired owner of Gamble's Bookkeeping and Tax Service in Hogansville. She had a loving and caring spirit and became a mother to all children who entered her home.
Survivors include her sons, David Gamble, Charles Gamble and Bobby Gamble, all of Hogansville; sisters, Joanne Brown of Moreland, Peggy Brickhouse of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Amanda Gamble, Brandy Eunice, and Dillon Gamble; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy E. Gamble; son, Jimmy W. Gamble; sister, Mary Henderson; and brother, Willie L. (Bill) Spradlin.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 16, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with her nephews, Gregg Spradlin, Jeff Brown, and Ken Martin officiating. Interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Saturday night.
