Irene Larson Majors

Irene Larson Majors, 68, of LaGrange, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2022, at her home. Irene was born April 14, 1954, in Giessen, Germany, daughter of the late Jess Larson and Magarete Wehrheim Larson. A resident of Massachusetts most of her life, where she had been employed as an apartment building manager, she had made her home in LaGrange since 2013, and had been employed as a security guard at Kia. She enjoyed arts, crafts, and flower gardening. Survivors include her husband, Wallace Wright of LaGrange; children, Brad Majors, Derek Majors, and Margaret Majors all of Massachusetts, Adrianne McCormick of Jackson Gap, AL, and Patrick Overley of Ohio; thirteen grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 18, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Michael White officiating.
