Irene Wright Bexton

MRS. IRENE W. BEXTON Mrs. Irene Wright Bexton, 92, of LaGrange, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015, at Hospice LaGrange. Mrs. Bexton was born September 13, 1923, in Heard County, daughter of the late Thomas and Nora Skipper Wright. A resident of Troup County most of her life, she retired from Uniroyal, Inc. in Hogansville and was the wife of the late John W. Bexton. She enjoyed gardening and appreciated all types of flowers, but her love for her family was the most important part of her life. Survivors include her sons and daughters in-law, Johnny Bexton of LaGrange, David and Viki Bexton of Vancouver, WA, Patrick and Lisa Bexton, of LaGrange; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 6, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Terry Rainwater will officiate and interment will be in Welcome All Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Monday night. Claude A.
