Innis Jefferson "Jeff" Kirkland, Jr.

Mr. Innis Jefferson “Jeff” Kirkland, Jr., age 73, of Hogansville, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at his home.

Mr. Kirkland was born May 15, 1953, in Atlanta, son of the late Innis Jefferson Kirkland and Martha Young Kirkland. A graduate of Newnan High School, he lived in Moreland for many years before recently making his home in Hogansville and was previously employed as a dispatcher for Coweta County E-911 and as an assistant department manager at Lowes in Newnan. He was a member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in Hogansville, where he served as an Elder and had been a member of the choir. Jeff had been active in square dancing and western round dance groups, was a devoted Star Trek fan, and was a member of USS DaVinci Chapter NCCC-74671 of Starfleet International.

He is survived by his sister, Fran Childree of Gay and his niece, Lori Kirkland of Fayetteville.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 27, at Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in Hogansville, with the Reverend Jan Tolbert officiating.
