Inez Murphy Dunlap

MRS. INEZ M. DUNLAP Mrs. Inez Murphy Dunlap, 99, formerly of the Rocky Mount Community of Meriwether County, died Thursday, October 6, 2011, at the home of her daughter in Newnan. The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, October 9, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Winston Skinner and the Reverend Cecil Clegg will officiate and interment will be in the Luthersville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 until 8 Saturday night. Mrs. Dunlap was born October 16, 1911, in Meriwether County, daughter of the late Joseph and Dura Tidwell Murphy. A lifelong resident of Meriwether County, she was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and for many years she assisted her late husband, John Maurice Dunlap, in the operation of a service station in Luthersville. Survivors include her daughter, Johnsie Dunlap, and her grandson, Brian Hund, both of Newnan; and several nieces and nephews. Claude A.
