Inez Shelton Caldwell

MRS. INEZ S. CALDWELL Mrs. Inez Shelton Caldwell, 74, of the Rocky Mount Community of Meriwether County, died Friday, April 2, 2010, at her home. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 6, at Bethel Baptist Church in Rocky Mount. The Reverend Wayne Settle and the Reverend Donnie Shelton will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Caldwell was born April 4, 1935, in LaGrange, daughter of the late William and Kitty Gross Shelton. She lived in Rocky Mount most of her life, was a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church, and retired from Playtex International in Newnan after more than forty years of service. Mrs. Caldwell had a great love for all of her family and enjoyed caring and providing for them. Survivors include her husband, Claude Caldwell of Rocky Mount; daughter, Wanda Caswell and Don Hamm of Woodbury; sons, Larry and Fonda Caldwell of Moreland, Terry and Mossie Caldwell of LaGrange, Ricky and Annettee Caldwell and Jody Caldwell, all of Rocky Mount; sister, Alma King of Huguley, AL; twelve grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.
