Hubert Allen Reese

Mr. Hubert A. Reese, 88, of Monroe, passed away Monday, November 30, 2020, at Northside Gwinnett Medical Center, in Lawrenceville. Mr. Reese was born October 11, 1932, in LaGrange, son of the late Reverend Vinson Reese and Euna Calhoun Reese. A 1953 graduate of LaGrange High School, he attended DeVry Institute, he was employed for many years at Richey TV in Atlanta before working for Rockwell International and retiring from The Boeing Company. He lived in the Atlanta area most of his life. Survivors include his daughter and son in-law, Sharon and John Cathey of Monroe; grandchildren, Ashley Cotton and Alex Cathey; great-grandchildren, Micah, Maddox, and Emilee; sister, Shirley Lawhorn; and brother, Roger Reese. He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Pruitt Reese; and his sister, Jacqueline Green. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, December 3, at the graveside in Restlawn Memory Gardens in LaGrange. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Thursday. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
