Hubert Franklin Pharr

Mr. Hubert F. Pharr, 80 of Woodland, Al., passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton. Born June 7, 1941 in Atlanta, Mr. Pharr was the son of the late James Clarence Pharr and Myrtle Ethel Phillips Pharr. He lived most of his life in Atlanta before making his home in Alabama several years ago. Mr. Pharr retired from City of Atlanta Police after 30 years of service and enjoyed woodworking, especially building birdhouses. Survivors include his daughters and sons in-law, Cathy and Greg Munsey, Wendy and Robert Cofield, all of Hiram, Vicki and Matthew Middleton of Powder Springs, Michelle and Randy Underwood of Mableton, and Angela and Adam Seagroves of Thomaston; sons and daughter in-law, Butch and Amy Pharr of Villa Rica and Chris Mullins of Woodland; a step-daughter, Charlene Dowis Spears of Roanoke, AL; too many grandchildren to count; and an unspecified number of great-grandchildren.
