Hubert William Madaris

MR. HUBERT W. MADARIS Mr. Hubert William Madaris, 81, of Newnan, died Saturday, May 8, 2010, at Doctor's Hospice in Fayetteville. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p. m., Tuesday, May 11, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Hubert Flournoy will officiate and interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan. Mr. Madaris was born December 26, 1928, in East Newnan, son of the late John William Madaris and the late Gertrude Strickland Madaris. A lifelong resident of Coweta County, he retired as a driver from Brown Transport and was a member of East Newnan Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Dorris Shelnutt Madaris of Newnan; daughter, Kathy Madaris Marshall, also of Newnan; sons and daughter in-law, Steve Madaris of Newnan and Jackie and Margie Madaris of Moreland; his step-mother, Clyde Madaris of Newnan; brother, Eddie Madaris of Sargent; and grandsons, Jackie Madaris, Jr. and Jason Madaris and his wife, Sarah. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Monday night, May 10th, at Claude A.
