Howard Eugene Bailey

Mr. Howard Eugene Bailey, 62, of LaGrange, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Bailey was born March 18, 1955, in Kingsport, TN and was a Vietnam veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. He was Baptist by faith and was employed as a technician for Penske Truck Leasing in LaGrange. Survivors include his wife, Traci Matthews Bailey of LaGrange; daughter, Heather LeighAnn Bailey of Loganville; sons, Christopher Kenneth Mallett of Franklin, Scott Bailey of Prattville, AL; his mother, Marjorie Lockett of New Port Richey, FL; sisters, Kattie Holcomb and Sharon Davis, both of Luthersville, Barbara Hock of Coco Beach, FL; brothers, Howard Othel Bailey, Jr. of Carrollton, Joe Bailey of Luthersville, Marion Bailey of New Port Richey; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard O. Bailey. The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 20, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend T. J. Boyd will officiate and interment will be in the Pine Mountain Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Monday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
