Mr. Homer E. Ross, Jr., 80, of LaGrange, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center.
Mr. Ross was born March 6, 1940, in Greene County, Alabama, son of the late Homer Edgar Ross and Georgia Phillips Ross Cofield. A veteran of service in the U.S. Army, he lived in Troup County most of his life and owned and operated Pine Mountain Upholstery for forty years prior to his retirement.
Survivors include his daughter and son in-law, Niki and Jeremy Storey of Hogansville; grandchildren, Erika Patterson, Fuller Patterson, and Brody Storey; sister, Susie Harman of Newnan; brother, David Cofield of Five Points, AL; and a number of nieces and nephews, including Brian Cofield and Lisa Cofield, both of Five Points. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Batchelor Ross; and his daughter, Ginger Ross Patterson.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 8, at the graveside in Restlawn Memory Gardens in LaGrange, with the Reverend Katie Mattox officiating. The family will greet friends at the graveside.
