MRS. HELEN K. WITNER Mrs. Helen Katherine Witner, 80, of Hogansville, died Thursday, August 7, 2014, at Uni-Health Post Acute Care in Greenville. Born April 11, 1934, in New York, New York, Mrs. Witner was the daughter of the late Adam and Sophie Kulaga Rozansky. She lived in Hazelton, Pennsylvania before making her home in Hogansville ten years ago, and had attended St. Peter's Catholic Church in LaGrange. She was the wife of the late Frank Witner. Survivors include her daughters and sons in-law, Rose and Charles Edward Gulley of Hogansville, Caroline and Timothy Michael Papa of Goshen, NY, Mary Capozzoli of Coxsackie, NY, and Dorothy Stefano of Palm Springs, FL; sister, Eleanor Heinzman of Ventura, CA; grandchildren, Ian McMinn, Dylan McMinn, Sophia Capozzoli, Peter Capozzoli, Timothy Papa, Michael Papa, and Jeffrey March; and two great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted at 8:00 p.m., Saturday, August 9, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with Father Patrick Sculley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately before and after the service. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
