Helen Adkins Wheeler

Mrs. Helen Adkins Wheeler, 83, of Hogansville, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025, at her home.

Mrs. Wheeler was born February 4, 1942, in Mudd, West Virginia, daughter of the late Roy and Allie Vannatter Adkins. A resident of Georgia most of her life, she had lived in the Hogansville area for the past ten years. She enjoyed cooking and served as a retail store manager for 30 years prior to her retirement.

Survivors include her son and daughter in-law, Ronald and Nita Wheeler of Hogansville; granddaughters, Cynthia Wheeler of Kennesaw, Staci Weaver of Dallas; sister, Donna Vannatter of Danville, WV; and brothers, Ricky Adkins of Sevierville, TN and Terry Adkins of Ravenwood, WV. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Anderson Wheeler.

A memorial service is not being planned at this time.
