Mrs. Helen Marguerite Kilgore Hannah, 93, of Newnan, passed away Monday, April 4, 2016, at her home.
Mrs. Hannah was born November 28, 1922 in Newnan, daughter of the late Mabry Springer Kilgore and Maybelle Alice Haywood Kilgore. She lived in Coweta County most of her life and was a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church in Newnan. She was a loving mother and an outstanding homemaker, who enjoyed flower gardening and sewing.
Survivors include her daughters, Peggy Duncan of Grantville, Phyllis Barnes and her husband Howard of Hogansville, and Vicki Bearden of Newnan; son, Gregory Hannah and his wife Sharon of Grantville; sister, Ann Kalill of Newnan; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Hannah; daughter, Diane Yeager; sons in-law, Richard Yeager and Rick Bearden; grandsons, Brian Keith Yeager, Dereke Scott Bearden, Brandon Lee Bearden; great-great-granddaughter, Malinda Woods; and brother, J. W. Kilgore.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 6, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend David Arrington will officiate and interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Newnan.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Tuesday night.
