MRS. HELEN K. COWART Mrs. Helen K. Cowart, 84, of Newnan, died Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 3, in the Luthersville Cemetery, with the Reverend Winston Skinner officiating. Mrs. Cowart was born July 20, 1925, in Spalding County, daughter of the late Rasmas and Maggie Crenshaw Combs. A former resident of Luthersville, she had lived at Newnan for more than twenty years and was Baptist by faith. Survivors include her daughters and sons in-law, Barbara and Denzel Wallace of Griffin, Sandra and David Hubbard of Gay, and Faye and Calvin White of Newnan; six grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy Thomas and Carl Cowart. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
