MRS. HELEN DENNEY COOK
Mrs. Helen Denney Cook, 94, of Hogansville, died Saturday, June 28, 2008, at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 30, at Highland Baptist Church in Hogansville. The Reverend Ron Daniel and the Reverend Max McCord will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville.
Mrs. Cook was born August 22, 1913, in Meriwether county, daughter of the late William Thomas Denney and the late Lura Eunice Brooks Denney. She lived in Hogansville most of her life, was a member of Highland Baptist Church, and retired as a laboratory technician from Uniroyal, Inc. in Hogansville after 43 years of service. She was the wife of the late Robert Joe Cook.
Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Kathy and Bernie Quinn of Powell, TN; sons and daughter in-law, Bobby and Linda Cook of Ludowici and Lamar Cook of Chatsworth; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
