Hazel Beckom Hosmer

MRS. HAZEL B. HOSMER Mrs. Hazel Beckom Hosmer, 73, of Geneva, Alabama and formerly of Grantville, died Sunday, October 26, 2008, at Wiregrass Medical Center in Geneva. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 30, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Minister Douglas M. Williams and Mr. Brian Wood will officiate and interment will be in Faith Baptist Church Cemetery in the Primrose Community of Meriwether county. Mrs. Hosmer was born July 31, 1935, in Coweta county, daughter of the late Joe and Lois Kelley Beckom. She had lived in Alabama for the past twenty years, was a retired nursing assistant, and was a member of Geneva Church of Christ. Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Mary Ann and Jimmy Cole of Geneva; son and daughter in-law, David and Joyce Hosmer of Newnan; brother, Wiley Beckom of Newnan; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
