MR. HARVEY CREWS, JR.
Mr. Harvey Crews, Jr., 84, of Greenville, died Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at West Georgia Medical Center.
The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, March 2, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Bill Smith will officiate and interment will be in Union Baptist Church Cemetery
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Friday night.
Mr. Crews was born May 10, 1928, in Meriwether County, son of the late Harvey Monroe Crews and Ida Mae Bunn Crews. He was a lifelong resident of Meriwether County, was a farmer and gardener, and was Methodist by faith. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Heard Crews; daughter and son in-law, Cheryl and Rodney Thompson; son, Terry Crews, all of Greenville; a grandson, Mark Thompson of Hammond, Louisiana; and brothers, Gayron Crews of Duluth and Robert Crews of Suches.
Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Services: 4:00 p.m., Saturday, March 2nd, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home
Interment: Union Baptist Church Cemetery in the St. Marks Community
