MR. HARTLEY BONNER Mr. Hartley Bonner, 63, of Grantville, died Sunday, July 6, 2014, at his home. Mr. Bonner was born February 7, 1951, in LaGrange, son of the late William Allen Bonner, Sr. and Carolyn McLeroy Bonner Smith. He spent his entire life in the motor trucking industry, retired from USF Holland Freight Lines after more than 20 years of service, and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 728. A member of the First United Methodist Church of Grantville, he enjoyed playing the guitar as well as hunting and fishing, and was a member of several local hunting clubs. Survivors include his wife, Alice Sewell Bonner of Grantville; daughter, Sarah Caroline Bonner Hensley and her husband, Johnathan of Covington; sisters, Priscilla and Jimmy Revell of Doerun, Karen and James Ussery, Sharon and Tommy Hendon, all of Roanoke, AL, Shirley and Ronnie Young of Boaz, AL; brother, Larry and Patsy Smith of Bowdon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas Erroll Bonner, William Allen Bonner, Jr., and Harry Lamar Bonner. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 9, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Darris Baker and the Reverend Tommy McLeroy will officiate and interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Newnan. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Tuesday night. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Grantville. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Tuesday night, July 8th, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Services: 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 9th, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Interment: Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Newnan
