Mr. Harry Hay, 76, of Newnan, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022, at his home. Mr. Hay was born October 12, 1945, in Hogansville, son of the late James Frank Hay and Inez Williamson Hay. A resident of Coweta County for many years, he was a retired over-the-road truck driver and was Baptist by faith. He was an avid golfer and had a lifelong love for the sport. Survivors include his wife, Marian Rogers Hay of Newnan; son and daughter in-law, Scott and Tracy Hay of Villa Rica; sisters and brother in-law, Margaret Bullock and Lynn and Larry Pike, all of Hogansville; grandchildren, Connor Hay, Chris VanCavage, David Nielsen, and Lonnie Temple; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunt and uncle. He was preceded in death by his sister, Janice Woodley. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 25, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Pastor Ron Whitlock and Pastor Stan Rogers will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Monday.
