MR. HARRY F. CARLISLE
Mr. Harry F. Carlisle, 67, of Hogansville, died Sunday, December 19, 2010, at his home.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 21, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Willow Heim will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Carlisle was born July 26, 1943, in Meriwether County, son of the late Harry Felton Carlisle and the late Louise Mann Carlisle. A Vietnam veteran of the U. S. Army, he attended West Georgia College, had lived in Hogansville for 32 years and retired as a field engineer from BellSouth. He was a member of St. James United Methodist Church and the Hogansville Optimist Club, and was a former member of the Hogansville City Council.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Carlisle of Hogansville; daughter, Kristy Carlisle of Lone Oak; son and daughter in-law, Kevin and Kelley Carlisle of Palmetto; one grandson, Logan Carlisle of Lone Oak; four brothers, Richard and Becky Carlisle of Roopville, Gerald and Susan Carlisle and Clifford and Sheila Carlisle, all of LaGrange, Phillip Carlisle and Charlene Morris, of Moreland; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
