Harold T. Wessinger

MR. HAROLD T. WESSINGER Mr. Harold T. Wessinger, 84, of Hogansville, died Monday, April 8, 2013, at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 10, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Lonnie Bennett will officiate and interment will be in Tyus Baptist Church Cemetery in Carroll County. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 until 8 Tuesday night. Mr. Wessinger was born March 28, 1929, in Carroll County, son of the late Newman and Pauline Lancaster Wessinger. A resident of Hogansville since 1950, he retired from William L. Bonnell Company in Newnan, was a faithful member of Hogansville Church of God, and enjoyed farming. Survivors include his sisters and brother in-law, Lucille Grainger of Carrollton, Linda Dingler of Veal, Paulette and Lamar Fricks of Carrollton; brother and sister in-law, Douglas and Barbara Wessinger of Hogansville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Louise Gray, and nieces, Hope Shelnutt and Debra Foster. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
