Mr. Harold Martin Miller, 95, of Hogansville, passed away Monday, December 18, 2023, at his home.
Mr. Miller was born September 8, 1928, in Enterprise, AL, son of the late Leo and Georgia Martin Miller. He retired from the U. S. Air Force as Chief Master Sergeant after 23 years of service and was a veteran of service during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Following his military retirement, he lived and farmed in Cottonwood, AL, had lived at Hogansville since 2016, and was a member of Luthersville Baptist Church. He was a former active member of the Pork Producers of Alabama and was a former board member of South Alabama Electric Cooperative.
Survivors include his daughters, Leslie Luzier of Hogansville, Becky and Mike Porter of Franklin; granddaughters, Kellie and Roger Burks, Shannon and Anthony Pritchard; and great-grandchildren, Jed and Anna Porter, Boone Smith, Asa Burks; great-great-granddaughter, Arabella Porter; brothers, William Edward Miller of Austin , TX, Lomax Miller of Milton, FL, Leon Miller and Neal Miller, both of Pace, FL; and sisters, Virginia Dozier of Jay, FL and Carolyn Tidwell of Pace, FL . He was preceded in death by his wife, Tommie Ingram Miller.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 22, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend John Pape will officiate and interment with military honors will be at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 26, at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m,. until 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 22.
