Harold Don Conway

It is with saddened and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Don Conway, 77 of Grantville, on October 20, 2024.

Born February 20, 1947, in Hogansville, Don was the son of the late Walter and Lena Robinson Conway. He retired from Georgia Department of Transportation with 34 years of service, worked for two years for Coweta County, worked with Volkert, Inc. finishing the interstate project, and was always working for Mr. Joe McWaters. Don loved his family and loved doing things for his family. He enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles, and playing golf, and will truly be missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years, Linda Phillips Conway; sister, Mary Ann Hanner; sons, Bobby Conway (Christy) and Rick Phillips (Cyndi); daughter, Letitia Feinberg (Harry); a very special grandson, Andrew Wilkie (Lauren); grandsons, Heath Ridgeway (Beth), Adam Phillips (Danielle); granddaughters, Elizabeth Richards (Josh), Ashliegh Power (Adrian), and Terra Phillips; great-grandchildren, Amy Ridgway, Kylie Ridgeway, Sarah Sassanella, Kate Lynn Phillips, Darcy Power, Conner Phillips, Charlotte Folsom, and Liza Folsom; great-great-grandchild, Dakota Faith Ridgeway; a niece; two nephews; a great-niece; and a great-nephew. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his precious baby girl, Amy Conway, and his daughter, Faith Wilkie.

The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 26, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Jason Settle will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, and from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Saturday.

Flowers are appreciated, or memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in memory of Mr. Conway.
