MR. HARLIS J. DRIVER
Mr. Harlis J. Driver, 72, of Hogansville, died Saturday, January 2, 2010, at LaGrange Nursing and Rehab Center in LaGrange.
The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Monday, January 4, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Donnie Benefield will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Driver was born November 17, 1937, in Randolph County, Alabama, son of the late Garfield and Ora Butler Driver. He lived in Troup and Heard counties most of his life, was Baptist by faith, and was a retired carpenter.
Survivors include his son and daughter in-law, Will and Angela Driver of Hogansville; daughters, Frances Stewart, Rhonda Driver, and Lynn Driver, all of LaGrange; brothers and sisters in-law, Billy and Gini Driver of Five Points, AL, Jimmy and Barbara Driver of LaGrange, and Larry and Donna Driver of Mobile, AL; thirteen grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Bowen Driver; son, Ricky Driver; daughter, Hazel McKeen; grandson, William Eugene Morgan, Jr., and great-grandson, Skylar Ian McKeen.
Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
