Mr. Hardy Seaborn Brockway, 68, of Luthersville, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
Mr. Brockway was born June 5, 1953, in Luthersville, son of the late Russell and Florence Hawk Brockway. A lifelong resident of Luthersville, he had attended Luthersville Baptist Church and retired from B-WAY Corporation after 47 years of service in the Newnan Plant. He was known as a hard-working man, was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Brockway of Luthersville; daughters, Tammy Sellers (Joshua) of Luthersville, Becky Hunter (Jeff) of Greenville; grandchildren, Erin Beddington (Chris), Kevin Worley, Erica Murphy (James), Kenzie Vance, Wesley Hunter; great-grandchildren, Preston, Ryan, and Noah Beddington; and sister, Beth Hobbs (Johnny) of Luthersville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Reese Brockway.
The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 7, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with interment in the Luthersville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Wednesday night.
