Hansel James "Hank" Foster, Jr.

Hansel James "Hank" Foster, Jr., 56, of Grantville, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022. Hank was born February 25, 1966, in Cumming and lived in the Grantville and Hogansville area most of his life. He owned and operated Hank Foster Construction and also owned and managed a number of rental properties. He loved anything tractor-related and loved to operate heavy equipment. He enjoyed fishing, loved his family, and especially enjoyed spending time with his father who was his best friend. Hank loved God and was a member of Union Baptist Church in the St. Marks Community. Survivors include his children, Hansel James Foster III (Beth) of Hogansville, Dustin Bo Foster (Gabie) of Carrollton, Holly Foster Dunn (David) of Hogansville; his father, Hansel James Foster, Sr. of Grantville; grandchildren, Layne Foster, Eleanor Foster, Dawson Foster, Paisley Dunn, and Presley Dunn; and a several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mae Wheelus Foster; and his sister, Lynn Foster Cheek. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 4.
