MRS. GWEN PIKE
Mrs. Gwen Pike, 65, of Hogansville, died Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at Hospice LaGrange.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 12, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Randall Hodge will officiate and interment will be in Union Baptist Church Cemetery in the St. Marks Community of Meriwether county.
Mrs. Pike was born April 29, 1943, in Meriwether county, daughter of the late Richard Elmer Pike and the late Sara Daniel Pike. She lived in Hogansville most of her life, was a member of the Hogansville Church of God, and was retired from Woodbury Business Forms.
Survivors include her brothers and sister in-law, John and Margo Pike of Hogansville and Donald Pike of Tampa, FL; nieces and nephews, Richard and Cathy Pike of Los Lunas, NM, David and Bobbie Pike, Lori Drake, Lisa Pike, Donna Pike, and Amy Pike, all of Hogansville, and Joanna Pike of Tampa, FL; a special nephew and his wife, Ken and Cindy Green and their children, Mitch Green, Melanie Green, and Mason Green, all of LaGrange; a special sister in-law, Louise Brown of LaGrange and her daughters, Syretha Gardner of Hogansville and Deneen Denney-Oechsle of Stockbridge; and special friends, Barbara and Kelly Harding of St. Marks.
The Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
