Gwen Lee Mobley

MRS. GWEN L. MOBLEY Mrs. Gwen L. Mobley, 72, of LaGrange, passed away, Thursday, August 20, 2015, at Hospice LaGrange. Mrs. Mobley was born October 29, 1942, in Blackshear, daughter of the late Earlesh Lewis and Ivalee Davis Lewis. A resident of LaGrange for over fifty years, she retired from LaGrange Molding and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. She adored her grandchildren and enjoyed working with crafts. Survivors include her daughter, Susan Mobley Lewis of LaGrange; grandchildren, Brandie and Chris Arrington and their daughter Zoie of Alaska, and Dustin Musgrove of Waycross; brother and sister in-law, Grady and Mary Lewis of Blackshear; and sister and brother in-law, Jean and Kenneth Dykes of Lakeland, FL. brothers in-law, Harold Mobley and Hugh Mobley of LaGrange; sisters in-law, Joyce Beebe of Warner Robins, Vivian Arrington of LaGrange. She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Mobley. The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday August 23, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Charles Chapman and the Reverend Brad Thompson will officiate and interment will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 until 3 Sunday afternoon. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
