Grover Leroy Watts

Mr. Grover Leroy Watts, 90, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023, at his home.

Mr. Watts was born June 14, 1933, in Grantville, son of the late Roy and Georgia Pye Watts. A resident of Columbus for many years, he retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Staff Sargeant. He enjoyed supporting the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Atlanta Braves, enjoyed gardening and being outside, and loved all animals, especially his dogs.

Survivors include his daughter, Regina and Allen Harrison of Valley, AL; sons, Milton and Amy Watts of Smiths Station, AL, and Roy Watts of Shreveport, LA; his sister, Mildred Musick of Toccoa; grandchildren, Taylor Hussey, Colton Watts, Dalton Watts, Kamden Watts; and great-grandchildren, Payton Hussey and Ivy Watts.

The family is honoring Mr. Watts's wishes that a memorial service not be conducted.
