Grady Lee Cash

Mr. Grady L. Cash, 79, of Hogansville, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at his home. Mr. Cash was born September 3, 1938, in Heard County, son of the late Clifford and Addie Bonner Cash. A resident of Hogansville most of his life, he was Baptist by faith and retired as a supervisor from William L. Bonnell Company in Newnan. He enjoyed gardening, cooking and giving others the things he grew and cooked. Survivors include his daughter and son in-law, Lisa and Shane Spradley of Butler; sons and daughters in-law, David and Tammy Cash of LaGrange, Randy and Linda Cash of Grove Oak, AL; sister, Lois Martin of Hogansville; grandchildren, Jana Cash, Tyler Cash, Jonathan Purgason, Meghan Cash; and great-grandchildren, Tanner Cash and Madden Purgason. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Narvell Cash; infant daughters, Charlotte and Patricia Cash; and grandson, T.J. Spradley. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, August 2, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Randall Hodge will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Wednesday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
