Gloria Eason Maddox

Mrs. Gloria Eason Maddox, 89, of Greenville, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016, at her home. Mrs. Maddox was born September 19, 1926, in Atlanta, daughter of the late Emory Allen Eason and Effie Hight Eason. A resident of the Atlanta area most of her life, she retired as payroll supervisor for Sun Life Insurance Company. She was a member of Hogansville Church of God. Survivors include her husband, George N. Neal of Greenville; son, Tommy Maddox, also of Greenville; daughter, Cynthia Wagner of Robinson, TX; step-daughter, Cindy Johnson and her husband Steve Johnson of Greenville; step-sons, Nelson Neal and his wife Becky Neal of Dacula, Michael Neal and his wife Laura Neal of Greenville, Mark Neal of Greenville; and a number of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. The family will have visitation and viewing at the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville from 5 until 8 Tuesday night, March 22. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 3, at Hogansville Church of God, with the Reverend Randall Hodge officiating. Claude A.
